[Harp-L] Polyphonia #7, Educator Soprano, Educator Alto

Greetings.

I couldn't find any information about the Educators (Soprano and Alto), but
It's a guess that they were made between 1930-1940. You've written that they
are chord harmonicas. Hohner also makes today's Educator 10, a slide chromatic
harmonica with 10 holes (2.5 octaves).

Hohner made a series of Educator harmonicas in those years '30s to '40s),
including a bass harp. The bass harp had one comb. It was similar to today's
Suzuki Alto Single.

The Hohner Polyphonia #7 was made from about 1930 to a little after 1971.
Left to right, it measures
10 and 3/8ths inches. It's range is from the D below the bass clef to the D
below the treble clef. It has single holes, each with one blow reed, and it's
a slideless chromatic harmonica. It's scale reads: D-D#-E-E#, etc.

The $ value of these antique harps will be determined by their physical
condition, buyer's price and seller's price.
